2021 Illinois Evidence-Based Practices Virtual Conference Series: Best Practices on Racial Equity in Mental Health Organizations

This is not an anti-oppression 101. This workshop is for people who are ready to create systemic practices in nonprofits that push back against white supremacy culture and create change within their organization. This work is approached from a place of learning and unlearning, not from a place of accomplishment or arrival. The presentation will include: an overview of organizational history and racial equity plan; a deeper dive into each section of the plan; an exercise for moving from value to action; and a question and answer period.
