988 Crisis Lifeline: What to Know About the National Hotline

Last year the national 988 Crisis Lifeline was introduced. Instead of calling 911, people are now able to dial 988 to connect directly to a crisis counselor. Since its introduction, the 988 hotline has expanded and changed.
