As we continue to respond to the rapidly evolving opioid epidemic, this session will provide current state information on fentanyl and xylazine, which is now present in the Illinois drug supply. This session will be informed by the latest data on effective approaches to education, prevention, and treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD), incorporating the risks posed by fentanyl and xylazine.
