Into to Recovery Oriented Systems of Care

Recovery Oriented Systems of Care are networks of formal and informal services developed and mobilized to sustain long-term recovery. This framework was developed for communities, organizations and providers to collectively work together to effectively address the full range of substance use problems. This training will go over the history and successful implementation of the ROSC infrastructure and how it can be applied by communities.

Learning Objectives:

• Describe the components of a Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC)
• Understand the role of community and ROSC
• Explore the role of peer support workers in a ROSC model
• Learn the essential elements of a recovery-oriented system
