2022 Harm Reduction Summit – August 23 – 24th

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Harm Reduction Summit will promote the delivery of harm reduction services in Illinois, which engage people who use drugs to support connection, safety, and an improved quality of life. The 2022 IL Harm Reduction Summit will take place virtually on August 23-24th, 2022.

Anyone can attend the Summit, especially harm reduction service providers, healthcare providers, direct service providers, state agency staff, funders, supporters of harm reduction, people who use drugs, non-profits, and organizations interested in learning more about harm reduction.

This two-day event will include sessions on the history of harm reduction, mental health and substance use disorders, trauma informed care, and supporting faculty and families helping youth navigate substance use.

Registration for the Summit is free, but does close on August 10th at 8:00am CT.
